The miracle story of a teenage Kenyan boy who survived subzero cold and lack of oxygen for an hour by hiding next to the wheel of an aircraft flying in the sky near 6,000m is a hot topic.

According to CNN broadcast on the 10th, a 16-year-old Kenyan boy was found fallen inside a landing gear used for takeoff and landing of a Turkish Airlines freighter at Maastricht Aachen Airport in the southeastern part of the Netherlands on the 4th.

The police were also concerned about the possibility of escape from the traffickers, but it was determined that the boy had departed from Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, and smuggled into the Netherlands through Istanbul, Turkey and London, England.

After the boy boarded the aircraft, it flew a whopping 740 km/h at a maximum of 5,790 m for an hour.

The boy is believed to have been hiding by Turkish Airlines in Istanbul after leaving Kenya.

The police said, “It is a miracle that the boy survived. In this case, the average person dies from the cold and lack of oxygen,” said the boy, who received hospital treatment for hypothermia but quickly recovered completely.

The boy requested asylum from the Netherlands and was handed over to the relevant ministry, where he was examined for refugee status.

Earlier, in January last year, the body of a smuggler was found in the landing gear of an aircraft flying from Côte d’Ivoire, Africa to Paris, France, and in 2019 a person crashed and died on an aircraft flying over London.
