The spread of Corona 19 in Japan has eased.
1,693 new cases were confirmed nationwide during the 11th day.
Since the 7th, it has maintained a thousand people for five consecutive days.
It calmed down more than in the beginning and middle of last month when up to 7,000 people a day came out.
It is believed that this was due to a wide range of emergencies, starting with four metropolitan areas including Tokyo on the 8th of last month.
Meanwhile, approval of the Pfizer vaccine is imminent in Japan.
Previously, the Japanese drug review agency determined that there were no particular problems with the safety and effectiveness of Pfizer vaccine.
In the meantime, a report acknowledging the approval of special cases has been compiled to simplify the screening process.
Therefore, it is expected that the Ministry of Health, Welfare, and Welfare Minister Tamura Norihisa will officially approve the Pfizer vaccine after a review by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan.
The Pfizer vaccine will be shipped by air from Brussels, Belgium, and will arrive at Narita International Airport in Japan on the 14th.
The Japanese government is busy with vaccinations starting next week.
Starting on the 17th, we are coordinating the direction of starting vaccination for 10,000 medical workers.
