The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters will hold the 2nd open discussion meeting for the reorganization of the distance system from 3pm, a short while later.

Unlike the first debate held last week, this time, self-employed persons and small business owners, who are directly affected by the distancing stage, also attend.

The government will also collect these opinions and come up with a reorganization plan that minimizes controversy over equity, such as restrictions on business per facility.

The government will reinforce quarantine regulations, while considering social and economic damages, and improve the measures to minimize restrictions on facility operation due to distance.

In this regard, Kim Moran, a professor at the National Cancer Center, who attends the discussion, released a presentation.

The current 5th stage is said to have problems with rapid response, and a new distance system consisting of life defense and 1st, 2nd and 3rd steps will be proposed.

In addition, he argued that the ban on private gatherings is not the current ban on more than 5 people, but should be subdivided into stages, such as 20 or more people in life quarantine, 10 or more people in the 1st stage, 5 people in the 2nd stage, and 3 or more people in the 3rd stage.

As of 0 o’clock today, there are 303 new cases of Corona 19.

It was 14 people higher than the previous day, which was 200 people, and it has risen to 300 people.

Although it is in the early 300s, the risk remains as it is ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday and the number of mutant virus infections is increasing.

In terms of the path of infection, 273 people occurred in Korea and 30 people inbound abroad.

There are still many domestic outbreaks, with 217 people in the metropolitan area.

Seoul has 86, Gyeonggi 117 and Incheon 14.

Outside the metropolitan area, Busan and Daegu are the largest with 9 people each, Gwangju 8 people, and Chungnam and Gyeongnam each 5 people.

Patients came out from all 17 provinces nationwide.

Eleven out of 30 overseas inflows were confirmed during the quarantine stage.

The number of deaths increased by eight to 1,482.

The number of patients with severe gastric disorders increased by 1 to 189.

Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun said at today’s critical script meeting that many of the momentum of Corona 19 has softened, but it is too early to conclude that it is still stable and demanded compliance with the New Year’s holiday quarantine regulations.
