Yesterday (8th) in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, a 10-year-old girl entrusted to her aunt’s house died in a bathroom bathtub.

Bruises have been found all over the child’s body, and the police are under investigation by urgently arresting his aunt and his aunt.

Yesterday, around 12:35 noon, a call came in from an apartment in Gorim-dong, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do.

A 10-year-old Ms. A fell into the bathroom bath, but her aunt reported that she was not breathing.

Miss A, who had already had cardiac arrest when paramedics were dispatched to the scene, received CPR and was transferred to the hospital, but eventually died.

However, medical staff who found that there were bruises on Ms. A’s body reported suspicion of child abuse to the police, and the police are under investigation by urgently arresting a couple in their thirties who were in charge of Ms. A for child abuse and lethality.

It was said that the autopsy of Miss A is going on this morning. How did the results come out?

The autopsy of Miss A was in progress from around 9:30 am.

Results are not yet delivered.

However, as the incident is suspected of child abuse and the social interest is high, the police will also notify the media as soon as the results of the autopsy of the National Institute of Scientific Investigation reveal oral findings.

Through an autopsy, the police are planning to confirm exactly what Ms. A’s cause is and there are no signs of abuse.

What’s going on with the aunt’s husband and wife’s investigation?

Ms. A’s aunt is known to have stated that she had hit Ms. A several times during a police investigation yesterday.

Ms. A’s aunt repeatedly overturned, saying she hit it first, but later saying she didn’t.

Aunt A’s aunt stated that her sister had temporarily entrusted Ms. A to Ms. A about three months ago because of the moving problem.

In this regard, an investigation was conducted on Ms. A’s real mother, and the police are also checking how she left Ms. A at her aunt’s house, and whether there were any circumstances in which she did not properly care for her children.

The police who urgently arrested Mr. A’s aunt and married couple must decide whether to apply for an arrest warrant within 48 hours of the arrest.

The police will apply for an arrest warrant based on the results of the first investigation and the autopsy of Miss A.

Yesterday, the police investigated whether there was anything unusual in the usual behavior of Ms. A or the behavior of the aunts and couples through CCTV in the apartment and inquiries to neighbors.

In addition, we plan to investigate further whether there are any circumstances in which the aunt couple abused their own children.
