Trump’s lawyers insisted that the impeachment hearing of the former president was unconstitutional, and President Joe Biden indicated that the Senate would not be actively involved, saying it was something to be resolved.

Trump’s lawyers argued that hearings against a former president who resigned from office were against the constitution.
