Lee Seung-woo (23) has been transferred to Portugal’s Portimonense SC on loan.
On the 8th (Korean time), the Belgian professional football team Sint Trawidon officially announced, “Lee Seung-woo will play for Portimonense SC for the rest of the season. Good luck.”
It has been a day after Lee Seung-woo’s brother and S&S Sports Management’s representative Lee Seung-joon released a picture of Lee Seung-woo who joined hands with a Portimonense official.
After explaining that “Lee Seung-woo played in a total of 30 games and scored two goals,” the Sint Trawidon team said, “I look forward to seeing Lee Seung-woo be able to demonstrate his abilities in Porttimonense, Portugal.”
Lee Seung-woo, a youth from Barcelona, Spain, passed through Italy (Verona) and settled in Sintetrawidon, Belgium in August 2019.
However, since then, it has not secured a clear position, and the possibility of a transfer recently emerged. At one time, the prospect of returning to the K-League came out, but in the end, it started anew in Portugal.
Meanwhile, Portimonense is a club belonging to the Portuguese first division Liganos and is headed by Portuguese leader Paulo Sergio.
