Kyung-Hoon Lee, runner-up at the Phoenix Open… Highest grade since debut

Lee Gyeong-hoon won second place by one stroke at the PGA Tour Phoenix Open.
Brooks Kepka, a’major hunter’ who has struggled with knee injuries, announced a resurgence after a year and a half.

Lee Kyung-hoon, who started in third place behind the tie for three shots, continued to compete for the championship until the last minute.
In the 15th hole, after putting a bunker shot on the green, he dropped a 3m birdie putt into the hole to lead the team.
Soon after, however, Brooks Kepka hit the eagle and was pushed out of the lead, and Buddy Putt on the last 18th hole slipped to the left of the hole, leaving the game in overtime.
Kyung-Hoon Lee tied for second place at the PGA Tour Phoenix Open with a final total of 18 under par with Zander Shopley.
As the runner-up runner-up, Lee Kyung-hoon’s highest performance since his debut on the PGA Tour.
Lee Gyeong-hoon, who has been active in the PGA from the 2018-2019 season, was tied for third at the 2019 Zurich Classic.
Lee Kyung-hoon, who participated in 12 competitions earlier this season and was eliminated by half, predicted a rebound by competing in the lead for four days in this competition.
Brooks Kepka, who made the fantastic chip Eagle in hole 17, reached the top after a year and a half.
Kepka, who hasn’t been able to perform as much since her knee injury in the fall of 2019, reported her 8th personal victory by catching two Eagles only in the 4th round.
“It was really dark moments (after a knee injury). It was mentally difficult and I didn’t know if I could get back. I’m very proud of myself.”
Meanwhile, the Phoenix Open was held as a contest among the audience after three months, allowing up to 5,000 people to enter the gallery a day.
