‘Asian Champion’ Ulsan Hyundai finished the International Football Federation (FIFA) Club World Cup in 6th place.
Ulsan lost 1-3 to Al Duhail (Qatar) in the 5th to 6th place finals in the tournament held at Al Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Qatar on the 8th (Korea time).
The Club World Cup is a competition where club champions from each continent participate, and Ulsan competed as a champion in the Asian Champions League last year. Meanwhile, Tigres reached the finals by defeating’South American champion’ Paumeiras (Brazil) 1-0. French national team Pierre Gignac scored the winning goal from a penalty kick in the 9th minute of the second half. Tigres competes with the winners of Bayern Munich (Germany)-Al Ahli (Egypt) on the 12th.
