[앵커]

The number of new corona 19 confirmed patients in Korea fell to 200 again after two months.

However, it is difficult to predict that it is stable as there seems to be an aftermath of the decrease in the number of holiday inspections.

The government warned of the possibility of a ‘4th pandemic’ and called for cooperation from the public ahead of the Lunar New Year.

As of 0 o’clock today, there are a total of 289 new cases of Corona 19.

Yesterday there were 372 new infected patients this time.

83 people decreased.

It has fallen to the minimum interest rate of 200 people in 77 days after 271 people on November 23 last year, which was the beginning of the third pandemic.

Looking at the path of infection, there were 264 domestic outbreaks and 25 foreign inflows.

There are still many domestic outbreaks with 207 patients in the metropolitan area.

111 in Seoul, 79 in Gyeonggi and 17 in Incheon.

Outside the metropolitan area, Daegu is the largest with 20, Gwangju and Busan each with 7, and Chungnam and Gyeongbuk with 5 each.

Nine out of 25 foreign inflow cases were confirmed during the quarantine stage.

The number of deaths increased by 3 to 1,474.

In addition, the number of patients with severe gastric disorders decreased by 2 to 188.

Yes, this is what the 2nd Deputy General Manager of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters Jeon Jeon-cheol made at today’s main script meeting.

From today, the business hours of restaurants and cafes in the non-metropolitan area have been extended by 1 hour until 10:00 pm.

The metropolitan area also announced that it would decide whether to extend business hours after carefully reviewing the corona situation during the week after the Lunar New Year holiday.

In addition, we plan to adjust the social distancing stage after Lunar New Year.

The former second deputy chief said that he is preparing a new social distancing step adjustment that will be applied from the week following the end of the Lunar New Year holiday.

He emphasized that he would comprehensively review matters related to step adjustment and improvement of quarantine rules after going through an open debate, and to come up with a rational plan in consideration of the common economy.

He then said that the adjustment of the distance stage depends on the level of infection control during the Lunar New Year holidays.
