Gyeonggi Province Governor Lee Jae-myung said, “Politics that make the impossible possible is what we can do to lead the world.” This directive, which has been arguing with the Democratic Party leader Lee Nak-yeon recently regarding basic income, is interpreted as a remark aimed at Lee again.
On the 7th, Governor Lee gave examples of Hannibal, Napoleon, BTS, and the movie’Parasite’ on his Facebook page. He said, “I heard the news that Yoon Yeo-jeong was nominated for the first American Actor Guild Award for Best Supporting Actor for the first time in Korea,” and said, “The most Korean is proving the most global.”
He continued, “For geopolitical reasons, as long as our ancestors escape the sense of enthusiasm for the squadronism, which was forcibly injected, and continue to challenge themselves without giving up in advance, presuming that it is impossible, in all areas of culture, society, economy and politics, I can lead the world,” he argued, “I am convinced that I believe in the potential of the Korean people, high citizenship, and collective intelligence.”
