“Apple-Hyundai Motors temporarily suspend Apple car negotiations”-ZDNet Korea

There are reports that Apple has stopped negotiating with Hyundai-Kia Motors Group on Apple cars.

Bloomberg reported on the 5th (local time) that the’Apple car negotiations’ between Apple and Hyundai Motor Company were temporarily suspended. According to reports, the negotiations stalled as Apple protested against the Hyundai Motor Group’s approval of some of its EV project negotiations.

At present, it is known that it is unclear when the negotiations between the two sides will resume. In addition, there is a controversy within Hyundai Motor Company over whether to participate in the Apple car project, Bloomberg said.

If the negotiations between the two sides are normalized again, there is a high possibility that Apple cars will be produced at the Kia Motors plant in Georgia, USA, according to foreign media.
