The court ruled against Russian opposition activist Navalni to change the probation to jail. The correctional authorities claimed that Navalni had been imprisoned for violating his probation obligation, and that Navalni had been forced to treat poisoning with poison, but the court gave the corrections’ hand.

When Navalni’s handcuffs were released, Navalni made a heart mark towards his wife, Yulia, Nabalnaya.
On the 2nd local time, the probation for Navalni was converted to imprisonment at a trial to cancel the probation ruling held in a court in Moscow’s Sinonovsk district.
As a result, Navalni was sentenced to three years and six months in prison.
In December 2014, Navalni was charged with illegally acquiring 590 million won from the Russian branch of French cosmetics company Yv Rocher, and was sentenced to three years and six months in prison and five years probation.
The execution bureau urged the imprisonment to be imprisoned, saying, “Navalni did not perform his duties of probation such as not appearing at the supervisory authority outside of the hospitalization period last year.”
In court, Navalni argued that it was “to scare millions of people by imprisoning me.”
Shortly after the ruling, lawyers foretold the appeal, referring to a ruling by the European Court of Human Rights that ruled that allegations of illegal funding in Navalni were unfounded.

US Secretary of State Tony Blincoln issued a statement saying, “It is a ruling that suppresses Navalni’s rights and political diversity.”
Massive rallies are taking place across Russia calling for the release of Navalni.
The local non-governmental organization’OVD-Info’ said more than 9,000 people have been arrested so far.
