The performance of the musical’Park Jeong-hee’ hosted by the YouTube channel Garo-Sero Research Institute (Ka Se-yeon) has been canceled. As for the reason for the cancellation of the performance, the positions of Ka Se-yeon and Konkuk University, which used to be the musical venue, are different.

On the 2nd, Ka Se-yeon said, “The performance of’Musical Park Jung-hee’, which was scheduled for the first performance on the 3rd, was canceled on the excuse of the dictatorship of Moon Jae-in Corona.” It seems that the performance was canceled due to strengthening social distancing to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19).

“We have no choice but to be angry at Konkuk University and Winiat, a musical venue commissioned management company, and their unforgivable behavior,” said Se-yeon Ka.

‘Musical Park Jeong-hee’ has been holding tickets through Interpark, saying that it will hold a performance at Konkuk University’s New Millennium Hall from the 3rd to the 20th. The cheapest seat was 70,000 won, and the most expensive VIP seat was priced at 200,000 won. According to the statistics of Interpark’s reservations, those in their 40s accounted for the most at 34.5%, followed by 27.2% in their 50s.

However, on the 3rd, Konkuk University refuted that “the cancellation of the performance is not related to the university.”

Konkuk University said on its homepage, “Recently, our school is discussed in relation to the performance of’Musical Park Jeong-hee’, and there are cases where different contents are disseminated.”

The school said, “As a result of checking with Winiat, which operates the hall’s rental business independently at the university headquarters, we received a rental inquiry from the musical production company, but received an answer that no concert rental contract has been made so far.”

Winiat said, “The musical organizer sold the concert tickets without the official screening and approval,” and said, “It has not signed a formal contract.”
