The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) applied for a special import of 117,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine, which will be supplied through the Covax Facility in mid-February, reflecting the results of an expert advisory meeting held in conjunction with the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. The special import system for pharmaceuticals is a system that allows the importer to directly import pharmaceuticals that are not licensed in Korea.
