What women need now is my money, not my parents’ money and my husband’s money. In a male-centered, patriarchal society, women’s’my money’ is not a simple’asset’, but a tool for independent and independent’my life’. 1929’British Woman’ Virginia Wolf book <자기만의 방>Told me that in order to do what he wanted to do, he needed his own room and £500 a year. In these words, it is my own space and cost of living. ‘My Money My Life’ does not stop at women’s financial skills, but delivers news and information related to women’s economic independence. First of all, we will introduce a non-face-to-face study group for real estate and stocks of’Seven Life’.

“Looking back on my last time as a tenant, I have been studying real estate for survival for humanity. I think I was able to choose to work at a startup because I secured economic freedom with real estate that provides a living place.” (Bolly) “Many women face a sense of crisis over careers that would be cut off by marriage and childrearing. Startups see potential and potential rather than stability, so if economic stability is supported, you will be able to focus on work more comfortably.” (Ella)
Women-centered start-up community’Sexual Life’ (Work and life of start-up women) The management team, Boli (nickname, 36) and Ella (nickname, 30), believe that if they feel economic stability, they can challenge more possibilities. It is not to play, but to’work in peace’ that women who work in startups who have to challenge rather than seek stability think that financial studies are essential. The two held a non-face-to-face meeting this year with women working at startups reading and studying books, articles, and reports on real estate and stocks. The two were interviewed in writing by the gender team on the 25th.

Real estate + stock, one sentence every day

Smile Life is a community organized on Facebook in 2017 and has about 5,100 members. Members maintain exchanges in various small groups. One of them is the’Sentence Gathering Group’ where people gather in a group chat room to study economics. Earlier this year, Bolly and Ella organized’stock sentence collection’ and’real estate sentence collection’ meetings to study stocks and real estate by reading at least one sentence a day with interested people. Ella, who has entered her 5th year of her work life as a marketer at a company, said, “Finance studies are a field that you should be interested in, like the weather every day. Also, the people around you who can share that interest are important.” This meeting does not ask about gender, age, occupation, or affiliation. Any member can participate by paying a monthly participation fee of 20,000 won. 20,000 won was set as a means of investing about 1,000 won a day (4 weeks each 5 days a week). The meeting, which started on January 11th, gathered 10 people to study real estate and 13 to study stocks. Bolly said, “One participant said that he was a’beginner who doesn’t know (finance)’. At first, the other’s sentence felt like a foreign language. However, he said that he became more and more familiar when he was forced to read related articles and books every day in the group room.

In the real estate crest collection room, participants learn difficult real estate terms together, and exchange information about the house arrangement process, such as loan information. In a single chat room, a’hand-made rental’ (to find out real estate information by selling hand-made items such as online search), which shares subscription information of a desired region, is also accompanied. Stock sentence collection room searches the stock price of the company of interest and studies the industry field of interest. Ella said, “It is a subjective action to leave the sentences studied that day in the study room and record them as yours in the economic information such as the flood. It becomes a study that presses tightly in the head.”

“The least learning to deal with capitalism”

“I think studying finance is not just about getting rich with financial technology, but the least learning about capitalism.” In her 11th year at work this year, Bolly led the meeting with the hope that more women working in startups could enjoy economic freedom. Bolly, who moved to work as a web planner at a startup three years ago, said that the financial income increased with the opportunity to set up a home, giving him the courage to choose what he wanted. He said, “The salary and welfare were reduced compared to my previous job, but I am realizing myself by growing my career at a startup. “I think that women in their twenties working at startups will be able to face economic freedom faster if they study finance together.” He said he had a lot of feelings while working on financial education planning at a previous company. “At that time, I felt that Korea did not have an opportunity to learn finance when I was in school,” and “I learned that the difference in’financial intelligence’ is large depending on the level of personal interest and the experience gained from parents, regardless of gender, academic background, or salary. I said. Boley, who has awakened to financial studies in their 30s, thinks that if many women understand financial income from their 20s and study to increase their share, they will be more free from labor income.

Bolly and Ella plan to hold a mini-seminar to share their actual investment experiences after the sentence collection meeting. In addition, in this year’s Syeo-il Life, we are planning’Virginia Wolf Online Book Club for Startup Women’. British novelist Virginia Woolf said in Esau that a woman needs her own room and 500 pounds of money a year to write. Bolly said that this statement is still valid today. “I think a woman can become a 21st-century Virginia Wolf if she has money (understanding capitalism), a car (the ability to drive), and writing (the skill to express her thoughts). Among them, I want to talk about books through a book in my life so that I can learn money and develop the power to write.” Bolly said.
