Im Seong-jae failed to overturn at the last minute at the U.S. Professional Golf (PGA) Tour Farmers Insurance Open, and tied for 32nd with 3 under par 285 strokes.

On the last day of the tournament held at Torrey Pines South Course (par 72) in San Diego, California, USA on the 1st, Lim Seong-jae hit 1 over par 73 in the 4th round and finished with a final total of 3 under par 285. The ranking was tied for 32nd.

Im Seong-jae threatened the lead with fierce momentum by reducing 5 strokes to the 8th hole this day, but missed the buddy putt on the 9th hole (par 5), and the uptrend declined as the bogie appeared in the 10th hole (par 4). Since then, he lost the power of reversal as he continued to lose at-bats with bogie in holes 11 and 13 and double bogie in holes 12 and 15.

On the first day of the tournament, Gyeongju Choi, who raised expectations by taking the lead, ended the tournament with a tie for 69th with a 4 over par 292 strokes.

Patrick Reed (USA), who hit 4 under par 68 with 1 eagle, 3 birdies and 1 bogie in the final round, scored 14 under par 274 in the final round.

After the World Golf Championship (WGC) Mexico Championship in February of last year, Reid, who held the championship cup again after a year, achieved 9 victories on the tour.

This course is scheduled to be held at the US Open, a major tournament in June this year, so for the lead, the second major championship after the Masters in 2018 was a green light.
