However, quarantine measures were partially relaxed for some multi-use facilities such as gyms and movie theaters and winter sports facilities.
◇ Even on Lunar New Year’s Day, meetings of more than 5 people are not allowed… Restaurant reservations for 5 or more people are not allowed.
According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters on the 1st, the current distancing and banning private gatherings with more than 5 people will continue until the 14th, when the Lunar New Year holiday ends.
Accordingly, it is forbidden for more than 5 people to gather at the same place at the same time for private purposes, and this applies to the New Year holidays without exception. Even direct family members can only gather up to 4 people if they live in different places.
Alumni associations, clubs, outings, workplace banquets, step-by-step meetings, housewarming, New Year’s party, first-birth party, sixtieth birthday, Chilsunyeon, and regular online cafe meetings are also prohibited for meetings with more than 5 people.
It is also impossible for more than 5 people to make a reservation or enter a restaurant or multi-use facility.
However, weddings, funerals, examinations, briefing sessions, and public hearings are exceptionally permitted. Even in this case, according to the distancing measure, only 49 people or less in the metropolitan area and 99 people or less in the non-metropolitan area can gather.
In addition, in the case of a family in the same place of residence, or in cases where care is required for children, the elderly, and the disabled, there is a possibility of dying.

◇ Extend distance… Restaurants and cafes, you can only eat until 9 p.m.
As the distance measures are extended, the existing quarantine rules are applied as they are.
In the metropolitan area, 9:00 p.m. for’gathering prohibited’ for 6 types of entertainment facilities such as clubs, collages, danran pubs, hunting pot tea, emotional pubs, and hold’em pubs, and multi-use facilities such as movie theaters, restaurants, cafes, large marts, and indoor sports facilities. After that, the restrictions on operations remain the same.
It is mandatory to wear a mask when you are not eating at restaurants or cafes. Violation of this will result in a penalty of not more than 100,000 won.
In addition, when two or more people order drinks and simple desserts at a restaurant or cafe, the usage time in the store is limited to less than one hour.
The same measures apply to religious activities.
Religious activities with low risk, such as regular worship, worship, and Mass, are allowed only within 10% of the total number of seats in the metropolitan area and within 20% of the non-metropolitan area.
In addition, meetings or events of 50 or more people are prohibited in the metropolitan area where step 2.5 is basically applied. Therefore, wedding halls and funeral halls are also limited to less than 50 people.
‘Step 2 + α’measures will also be maintained, such as banning the operation of sauna and steam facilities in the bathing area and banning events and parties organized by accommodation facilities.
Direct sales promotion halls such as door-to-door sales are limited to one person per 16m2 (approximately 4.8 pyeong) as before, and indoor standing performance halls must have a distance of 2m between seats.
In the non-metropolitan area where Stage 2 is applied, meetings and events with more than 100 people are prohibited, so the number of people is limited to less than 100 at weddings and funerals.
Sports events are held without spectators in the metropolitan area, and spectators are limited to 10% of the capacity in the non-metropolitan area.

Of course, even at this time, it is possible to book tickets and enter with only 4 people according to the ban on meetings of 5 or more.
In the metropolitan area, if you include a companion, you have to have two seats apart from the other party, and in the non-metropolitan area, you only need to have one space apart.

◇ Ski resort business restrictions lifted after 9 p.m.
Winter sports facilities such as ski resorts can be used after 9 PM.
However, in order to reduce the amount of movement between regions, the suspension of shuttle bus operation with other regions is maintained.
There is also a continuing measure to limit the number of capacity to one-third, and to limit the number of persons in auxiliary facilities such as changing rooms and entertainment rooms in sports facilities to one per 8㎡.
In accommodation facilities, reservations are only allowed within two-thirds of all rooms, and the ban on accommodations when the number of guests per room is exceeded has also been extended for two weeks.
