North Korean nuclear power controversy, is it something to encourage color

Na Gyeong-won (third from left), who entered the Seoul Mayoral Candidate’s contest, held an emergency press conference with a civic group against the denuclearization in front of the Blue House fountain on the 31st and urged, “President Moon Jae-in should break the truth about the nuclear power plant gate.” News 1

It is known that among the deleted documents of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy related to the post-nuclear power plant, the document to support the North Korean nuclear power plant is known, and the political circles are fighting for color theory. On the 29th, Kim Jong-in, chairman of the People’s Power Emergency Response Committee, strongly criticized “The Moon Jae-in administration decided to build a nuclear power plant in North Korea in top secret,” and “shocking transfers”. Rep. Hong Joon-pyo and others covered Chairman Kim, saying, “It’s not wrong,” and the people’s strength continued the offensive on the 31st, saying, “Answer the President.” Although the government has illegally deleted documents, it is too much for the opposition party to raise controversy over North Korea based on uncertain facts.

Chairman Kim’s argument has a leap in that he has made the’North Korean nuclear power plant construction’ as a prerequisite based on the document title. It is possible that the government has reviewed nuclear power plant support on the premise of North Korea’s denuclearization. In the 1990s, the South Korean government stopped working on a project to build a light water reactor instead of freezing North Korean nuclear facilities in accordance with the North American Geneva Agreement. No one calls this a transfer act. Some 220 of the deleted documents were claimed to have been written during the Park Geun-hye administration (Democratic Party Member Yoon Joon-Byeong), but the conservative regime also considered a project to support North Korea development. If it proceeds according to appropriate procedures and objectives, it is difficult to question support for North Korea.

The government should feel responsible for causing the controversy over the deletion of documents, and clarify more sincerely. Considering the relationship with North Korea, it may be difficult to disclose all related contents. However, the suspicion is not cleared to the extent that the Blue House spokesman Kang Min-seok said “strong response such as legal measures” and that “the nuclear power plant has never been mentioned in the inter-Korean summit.” The fact that the report that President Moon Jae-in handed over the USB at the inter-Korean summit in April 2018 refuted that it was “a malicious distortion” (pre-Cheong Wa Dae secretary Jo Han-gi), and the fact that he handed it over may be misleading as it was reported at the time. It is advisable to disclose when and in what nature the deleted documents were written.

If it is a document for review by previous governments, it cannot be controversial. Nevertheless, it seems that the Democratic Party’s comment that “the politics of the North Wind Duke spreading like a plague during the election season” is not useless as the power of the people raises criticism. It is of no use to the public to lead the election to the North Korean chase. Rather, it only reveals that the power of the people is an old-fashioned party.
