A man in his 60s who went missing while walking was found dead.

According to the Jeonbuk Fire Department and the Jeonbuk Provincial Police Agency on the 31st, Mr. A (66) was found dead at 0:37 a.m. at the foot of a cliff in Gulam-ri Dulle-gil, Buryeom-myeon, Muju-gun.

Mr. A, who lives in Gumi, North Gyeongsang Province, is known to have left the house at 8:00 am the previous day, saying, “I will go to the mountain”.

Even after 10 p.m., Mr. A did not return home and could not be contacted, so his wife reported to the police.

Upon receiving the report, the fire station and the police conducted a joint search of the area.

When the rescue team found it, Mr. A was already dead.

Police and fire departments are investigating the exact cause of death, assuming that Mr. A fell from a 15m-high cliff while hiking.
