NC 2021 roster
NC Koo Chang-mo, 24, was removed from the 2021 season’s Spring Camp list.
On the 30th, NC confirmed and announced the list of CAMP 2 (NC Spring Camp) for the 2021 season.
Among them, Gu Chang-mo’s name was missing. Gu Chang-mo made a big success with an average ERA of 9.55 until July last year. However, after turning around the season, he was away for about three months due to injuries and returned at the end of October. In the Korean Series, he made two appearances and threw 13 innings, leading the team to a combined victory with an average of 1.38 ERA.
The NC team said, “Chang-mo Koo suffered a fatigue fracture in his left hand last year. We excluded it from CAMP 2 in order to have enough time to recover so that he could play a healthy season this season.”
NC starts preparing for the new season in earnest with CAMP 2 (NC Spring Camp) starting on February 1. Team N (NC 1st group) will have 10 coaching staff and 46 players including manager Lee Dong-wook. Team C (NC Futures Team) includes 9 coaching staff and 28 players, including manager Yoo Young-jun. Use auxiliary stadiums in Changwon NC Park, Masan Baseball Stadium, and Masan Baseball Center. During the month of February, training is held on the 3rd and 1st is a break, and from March, a total of 9 evaluation matches will be held with LG (2 times), Doosan (2 times), Samsung (2 times), and Lotte (3 times). Check your sense of practice.
Team C will start CAMP 2 at Tongyeong Sanyang Sports Park from February 1st, and will return to Changwon on March 1st to prepare for the new season. NC recently improved the mound and bullpen in the Tongyeong Sanyang Sports Park to create a better training environment.
