SK Hynix has partnered with Dalian, China, so that it can successfully take over Intel’s NAND business.
On the 29th, SK Hynix announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Dalian city government of China to establish a cooperative relationship.
Through this agreement, SK Hynix decided to jointly promote new investments in Dalian. In addition, Dalian City has decided to support the necessary procedures so that the Intel fab can be transferred smoothly to SK Hynix.

Meanwhile, SK Hynix announced the acquisition of Intel’s NAND business in October last year, and Intel’s NAND production plant is located in Dalian.
