The Suwon District Prosecutor’s Office is currently investigating the suspicion of Kim Hak’s illegal withdrawal. Prosecutor Lee Gyu-won, who is accused of forging an emergency departure request form, is considered a key figure.

In addition, several high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Justice and the prosecution are on the line of investigation, including the head of the Immigration and Foreign Policy Headquarters of the Ministry of Justice, Gyu-geun Cha, who approved the prosecutor’s request for a ban on departure, and Lee Seong-yoon, the head of the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office, suspected of blocking the expansion of the investigation by the Suwon District Prosecutor’s Office at the time. .
