The government has again extended the suspension of flights to Korea from the UK until February 11th. This is to block the influx of the COVID-19 mutant virus, which is constantly spreading, in Korea. The mutant virus from the UK has been confirmed to have spread to 70 countries so far.

Announced that the suspension of direct flights to Korea will be extended by two weeks until the 11th of next month.

Previously, the government temporarily suspended flights departing from Heathrow Airport in London at the end of last year and arriving at Incheon Airport, and extended it once for four weeks until today (28th).

For those entering through Abu Dhabi or Dubai, etc., it is required to submit a Corona 19 negative confirmation.

So far, in Korea, 27 people, including 19 people infected with the mutant virus from the UK, have been identified as infected with the foreign mutant virus.

The World Health Organization (WHO) says the mutant virus found in the UK has spread to 70 countries.

This is an increase of 10 countries from a week ago.

He emphasized that even if another mutant virus appears, the vaccine can respond quickly.

Meanwhile, a suspicious parcel was delivered to the AstraZeneca vaccine factory in Wales, UK, and local police launched an emergency investigation.
