President Xi said he actively supported President Moon’s denuclearization efforts and said he would cooperate to hold a summit meeting between China and Japan as soon as possible.

In the talks between the leaders of the ROK and China, which took place in eight months, the most striking point is the part where Chinese President Xi Jinping mentioned North Korea’denuclearization.

Xi said the realization of denuclearization is in the interests of the ROK-China commons, and that China highly values ​​and actively supports President Moon.

President Moon also requested that China play a constructive role in resolving the Korean Peninsula problem through dialogue.

In response, President Xi replied that he supports inter-Korean-North Korea dialogue.

The two leaders were scheduled to be held in Seoul last year, but they agreed with the early hosting of the Korea-China-Japan summit, although it was destroyed by Corona 19.

When President Moon said he hopes the two countries will work together to hold the meeting as soon as possible, Xi replied that he would strengthen cooperation with South Korea along with his support.

There was no disagreement that the two countries had effectively cooperated in the prevention of Corona 19.

Xi said he knows that Korea will be vaccinated in particular next month, and hopes that the vaccination will play an important role in global defense.

When President Moon mentioned the launch of the Northeast Asia Quarantine and Health Cooperation Body and hoped for cooperation with China to lead to a peace, security and life community at the East Asian level, President Xi said he supported it.

The leaders of the ROK, China and China agreed to communicate with each other on the issue of the Comprehensive and Progressive Pacific Rim Economic Partnership Agreement and CPTPP membership that are discussed in the conflict between the US and China.

In particular, the two leaders agreed that the relationship should be further strengthened ahead of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and China next year.
