Cool design reminiscent of a sports car
Let’s start with the exterior. Like a flagship gaming laptop, a solid and luxurious material is applied. In addition, it is manufactured directly in Taiwan, where Gigabyte’s headquarters is located, and has a high level of finish.
The design stands out with a clean dark gray body, and the’Earth’ logo, which symbolizes Gigabyte’s gaming brand, is added to the top. This logo lights up with the display to further solidify the brand identity. Also, because it reflects objects like a mirror, it is still beautiful even when the screen is turned off.
The design keywords penetrating the notebook were also peeked. It is a sports car. A design with a back wing motif was applied to the monitor hinge, and the rear part and the upper part of the keyboard were also manufactured in a shape reminiscent of the grill of a sports car. I think this is a concept that goes well with games where speed is important.
It also has RGB, which is essential for gaming laptops. Since RGB supports Gigabyte’s lighting system’RGB Fusion 2.0′, more than 19 different lighting effects can be applied. The brightness of the LED is also excellent, so you can enjoy beautiful RGB even under bright lighting.

Also good as a gaming desktop replacement
There are quite a few people who opt for gaming laptops over gaming desktops. Unlike gaming desktops, gaming laptops are easy to carry and work without external monitors, so they can be used in tight spaces.
However, not all gaming laptops can replace gaming desktops. It should have a wealth of ports to easily connect a variety of gaming gears, and expandability and cooling performance are also important. How about Aros 15P XC?
The Aeros 15P XC has 3 USB Type-A ports. In other words, the gaming keyboard, mouse, and headset, which are the three essential gaming gears of gamers, can be connected at the same time. How about cooling? GIGABYTE is equipped with a’Wind Force Infinity Cooling System’ consisting of 5 heat pipes and 2 large fans for pleasant cooling. Thanks to this, it also stably controls the performance of high-performance graphics cards. To check the actual cooling performance, I ran’Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla’ (FHD highest preset) in the prologue for 20 minutes, and the GPU temperature was confirmed to be 77 degrees Celsius.
Perfect compatibility with e-sports games
This game can easily run AAA packaged games, but it shines even more when combined with e-sports games such as’Overwatch’,’League of Legends’ and’Valorant’. This is because the display refresh rate reaches 240Hz, and thanks to this, this notebook has succeeded in gaining recognition and certification by the global esports team’G2 Esports’.
Reporters usually play Overwatch on a 144Hz display, but with Aros 15P XC, the gameplay was comfortable enough to experience the smoothness of 240Hz at once. In particular, the frame was quite stable because the powerful performance of the RTX 3070 supported it.
The 3D audio function’Nahimic Sound’ is also provided. When I turned on the Nahimic sound, it felt as if an enemy was approaching from behind even though I was playing with the built-in speaker.
How about the performance?
I first checked the performance of Aros 15P XC. First, we checked the performance of the Core i7-10870H through the CPU-Z benchmark. It scored 519.9 points for single threads and 4784 points for multi-threads.
Storage is equipped with 512GB of NVMe SSD. When I measured the speed with the crystal disk macro, the continuous read speed was 2213MB/s and the continuous write speed was 2502MB/s. The continuous read speed was 4 times that of the SATA 3 SSD.
The GPU is equipped with GeForce RTX 3070. When I checked the graphics score with Fire Strike and Time Spy benchmarks, they scored 27,545 points and 10,116 points, respectively. Thanks to its excellent heat control performance, the graphics score was measured high.
Next, we conducted actual game performance tests. First, I confirmed this with’Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla’. Very High We recorded a maximum of 112, a minimum of 34, and an average of 74 frames based on the preset.
Next is Overwatch. The option is a very high setting for FHD resolution, and the rendering scale is 100%. Looking around the training ground, it recorded a maximum of 252, a minimum of 246, and an average of 249.82 frames. I was able to comfortably enjoy Overwatch at 240Hz.
The last game we tested was Battleground. The texture, anti-aliasing, and distance view are set to ultra, the other options are very low, and the resolution is FHD. When I measured the frames in the leg section of the training ground, it recorded a maximum of 226, a minimum of 167, and an average of 196 frames.
