The Ministry of Health and Welfare is calling for clinical support projects every other month through the National New Drug Development Project. In the third project, a total of 10 drugs were applied, and 4 of them were selected.
Celltrion will receive extended support for phase 1 and 2 of the existing antibody treatments to phase 3, and Daewoong Pharmaceutical will receive new support for Camostat following the existing niclosamide. Celid and Ubiologics each receive Phase 1 and 2 support for vaccine candidates. As a result, the Ministry of Health and Welfare will spend a total of 120.8 billion won to support clinical trials of a total of 10 drugs (5 treatments and 5 vaccines).
The Ministry of Health and Welfare is helping companies to quickly complete recruitment of test subjects through the National Infectious Disease Clinical Trial Center as well as financial support.
