The Central Defense Response Headquarters said that an additional mutant virus was confirmed in nine cases of foreign inflow.

This is the result of genome analysis to identify foreign mutant viruses since the 18th.

Of the nine newly identified cases, 4 cases were infected from the UK, 3 from South Africa, and 2 from Brazil.

As a result, the number of cases of mutant virus infection in Korea increased to 27.

Bang Dae-bon said, “As a result of a contact investigation on a confirmed mutant virus, there have been no confirmed cases of infection.”

However, in the case of three mutant infected people who had accompanying entrants, one family member each was confirmed, and one of these three was not infected with the mutant virus, and the other two are being tested.

Can you tell us the current status of new corona19 patients?

As of 0 o’clock today, 437 new cases were confirmed.

45 people increased from the previous day, and in one day, it has risen to 400 people.

Looking at the path of infection, 405 people were infected in Korea and 32 people were inflow from overseas.

When looking at domestic infections by region, it has decreased except for Daejeon.

There are 91 in Seoul, 72 in Gyeonggi, and 13 in Incheon.

Of these, 43 were confirmed at the temporary screening inspection office in the metropolitan area.

In the non-metropolitan area, Daejeon was the largest with 125 students, because group infection occurred in alternative boarding schools.

This was followed by 19 in Busan, 15 in Gwangju, 14 in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, and 13 in Chungnam.

Of the 32 foreign inflows, 11 were confirmed during the quarantine stage.

The number of people who died from Corona 19 increased by 11 to a cumulative 1,360.

The number of patients with severe gastric disorders decreased by 7 to 275.

The government plans to intensively discuss measures to adjust the distance to be applied from February, including during the Lunar New Year holiday this week.
