While the situation of the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) in Korea has entered a general phase, the number of new confirmed cases again reached 400 on the 25th.

Initially, the number of new confirmed cases was expected to decrease to the early 300s due to the decrease in the number of holiday tests, but the scale of infection increased as more than 120 people were diagnosed at IEM International School, an unauthorized religious education facility in Jung-gu, Daejeon.
Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun expressed concern over the new group infection and urged the first responders to take thorough countermeasures so as not to lead to a large-scale spread such as the Shincheonji Church of Jesus (Shincheonji) or the BTJ World Center in Sangju, Gyeongbuk.
The government is planning to determine whether or not to adjust the current’social distancing’ (stage 2.5 in the metropolitan area, stage 2 in the non-metropolitan area) and the ban on meetings of more than 5 people this week, ending at the end of this month while watching the flow of confirmed cases.

In the non-capital area, there were 125 in Daejeon, 19 in Busan, 15 in Gwangju, 14 in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, 13 in Chungnam, 11 in Gyeongnam, 8 in Chungbuk, 3 in Gangwon and Jeonnam, and 2 in each of Ulsan and Sejong. There were a total of 229 confirmed cases in the non-metropolitan area, unusually higher than those in the metropolitan area. Daejeon IEM International School group infection had a great impact.
In the case of major infections, 127 confirmed cases, including students and faculty members, came out at the IEM International School in Jung-gu, Daejeon operated by IM Mission.
In addition, 10 and 9 people were tested positive at day care centers in Namdong-gu, Incheon and Jinju-si, Gyeongnam, respectively, and the cumulative number of cases of day care centers in Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do increased to 20.

Eleven of the confirmed cases were confirmed during quarantine at the airport or port. The remaining 21 were positive while self-isolation at residential or temporary living facilities in Seoul (11), Gyeonggi (4), Busan, Daegu, Incheon, Gwangju, Gangwon, and Gyeongbuk (1 each).
Estimated countries for these inflows are the United States 7 people, Indonesia 5 people, Russia 4 people, UK, Poland, Tanzania 2 people each, China, Myanmar, UAE, France, Bulgaria, Denmark, Turkey, Mexico, Cameroon, Ghana 1 each to be. Among the confirmed cases, 19 were Koreans and 13 were foreigners.
When local outbreaks and foreign inflows (excluding quarantine) are combined, Seoul has 102 people, Gyeonggi 76 people, Incheon 14 people, and 192 people in the metropolitan area. Nationally, confirmed cases were found in 15 provinces excluding Jeonbuk and Jeju.
Meanwhile, the number of deaths increased by 11 from the previous day to 1,360 cumulative. The average fatality rate in Korea is 1.80%.
The number of patients with severe gastric disorders fell by 7 from the previous day to 275.
By this day, the number of confirmed cases lifted from quarantine increased by 426 to a cumulative 62,956, and the number of patients currently undergoing quarantine treatment is 11,205 as in the previous day.
To date, the number of corona 19 diagnostic tests conducted in Korea is a total of 5376,000, of which 516,616 were negative, and the remaining 13,4,549 were waiting for the results.
