Through fast track designation, it will take an average of 17 months, including 14 months for Hanam Gyosan and 14 months for Gyeyang, Incheon from district designation to compensation commencement. Pangyo and Wirye, the second new city in Seongnam, were shortened by nearly 10 months compared to the average 27 months.

Namyangju Wangsuk, Hanamgyosan, and Incheon Gyeyang are in the process of compensating after a compensation announcement in August last year, and Goyang Changneung and Bucheon Captains plan to announce compensation in the first half.

Namyangju Wangsuk, Hanamgyosan, and Incheon Gyeyang prepared a district plan in October last year and are in consultation with related agencies, and plan to confirm it in order in the first half of this year.

Goyang Changneung and Bucheon Daejang are preparing a district plan with experts in each field, including city, architecture, and transportation, and are expected to be finalized by the end of this year.

The 3rd new town plans to provide early supply by implementing a pre-subscription system that supplies one to two years ahead of this subscription, reducing the housing supply period by an average of 57 months and 4 years and 9 months compared to the existing new cities.

If the shortening plan is applied, it takes an average of 24 months from district designation to initial housing supply, including 25 months for Wangsuk in Namyangju, 25 months for Mount Hanam, and 21 months for Gyeyang in Incheon. The second new town took an average of 81 months, including 51 months for Seongnam Pangyo, 64 months for Wirye and 126 months for Godeok Pyeongtaek.

Advance subscription will take effect starting with Gyeyang in Incheon in July, and early supply of 30,000 units from public housing sites in the metropolitan area such as Namyangju Wangsuk 2 in September-October, and Namyangju Wangsuk, Hanam Gyosan, Goyang Changneung, Bucheon Daejang, etc. from September to October. The remaining 32,000 units are planned to recruit tenants next year.

On December 30, last year, after deliberation by the Metropolitan Transit Committee, Incheon Gyeyang with 17,000 units and Bucheon Daejang with 20,000 units were confirmed.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport prepared transportation plans from the announcement of the location to minimize transportation inconvenience when moving in for the 3rd new city, and confirmed transportation plans on average 16 months or more earlier than before by promptly pursuing verification for each project and consultation with related organizations.

In the third new city metropolitan traffic improvement plan, investment in public transportation such as subway was expanded to allow 30 minutes commuting to downtown Seoul. In order to minimize trial and error during the project promotion process, a business plan was established with local governments to promote the timely completion of metropolitan transportation facilities.

After the determination of the metropolitan transportation improvement plan, the major projects will undergo a preliminary feasibility study by public institutions to finalize the project plan, and in parallel with this, it is planned to promote the licensing procedure.

In order to strengthen the linkage between the new cities, Incheon Gyeyang and Bucheon Daejang, where the current traffic plan was confirmed, have established wide-area traffic improvement measures by integrating the two districts in order to strengthen the linkage between the new cities.

For public transportation, new transportation means such as S-BRT connecting Gimpo Airport Station~Gyeyang District~Daejang District~Bucheon Sports Complex are installed to provide smooth access to the surrounding railway lines (Lines 5, 7, 9, Airport Railroad, GTX-B, etc.). Establish a transportation network that can be connected.

S-BRT is an abbreviation of Super BRT and refers to a high-end arterial express bus system with speed and punctuality comparable to that of a subway.

In terms of road traffic, road capacity is secured through expansion of National Route 39 (Bolmal-ro), new construction of Gyeongmyeong-daero, and expansion of Ojeong-ro, and the accessibility of wide-area traffic is greatly strengthened by improving the connectivity between roads.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced that as the Incheon Gyeyang and Bucheon Daejang traffic measures were confirmed, a total of 81 cases of traffic measures for the third new city, including 32 public transportation and 49 road transportation, were completed.

Major projects include the urban railroad between Songpa and Hanam for Hanamgyosan, the urban railroad between Gangdong and Hanam and Namyangju in Seoul, and the construction of the Han River bridge, and the urban railroad between Goyang and Eunpyeong in Goyang and Changneung, and the establishment of GTX-A station .

The characteristics of the 3rd new city traffic plan are to establish a transportation plan that takes into account traffic in the surrounding area, centering on public transportation facilities such as railroads and S-BRT, and to minimize transportation inconveniences at the initial stage of move-in before the opening of major transportation facilities. And the like to support public transportation operation costs.

Among the 3rd new city traffic countermeasures, the railroad project plans to establish details such as the implementation method through a consultative body of related organizations, including local governments, etc., and reflect the upper level plan and initiate the basic plan.

First of all, in addition to the road project that has been ordered and is in progress, it is planning to proceed with ordering related services and commencing detailed design without any problems.
