Busan City will ease the social distancing stage from the current 2.5 stage to 2 stages starting on the 25th.
The city of Busan announced that it will adjust social distancing for one week from the 25th to the 31st of this month in two stages.
Initially, the city of Busan was planning to maintain the social distancing stage of 2.5 steps until the 31st of this month, but the number of confirmed cases was decreasing and the reproductive index of infection fell from 1.08 to 0.48.
It also reflected that small business owners and self-employed people complained of difficulties due to business restrictions due to the prolonged distance of 2.5 steps.
In accordance with the second-stage easing measures, business restrictions for general management facilities such as academies, classrooms, movie theaters, PC cafes, game rooms, reading rooms, department stores and large marts will be lifted from the 25th. In the case of the bathing area, the operation of sweat rooms such as sauna and steam room is allowed.
In addition, the number of meetings and events, including weddings and funerals, will be expanded from less than 50 to less than 100.
In professional sports, spectators can enter within 10% of the capacity, and in the case of religious activities, regular worship, mass, and court meetings can be held if the number of seats within 20% is observed.
However, special quarantine measures applied nationwide, such as banning private gatherings with more than 5 people, remain the same.
The city plans to reconsider whether or not to adjust the distance stage after the 31st.
