According to the market research firm Counterpoint Research on the 21st, the proportion of the online market in the smartphone market in four major Southeast Asian countries in the third quarter of 2020 increased by 8 percentage points from the same period last year.
Indonesia, which accounted for more than half of the total Southeast Asian smartphone market, accounted for 20% of the total market for smartphones sold online.
Counterpoint predicted that the online market strategy will become more important in the aftermath of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19).
