St. Marianna University Hospital, which opened in 1974, is a large general hospital with 1,208 beds and a regional base hospital, and is considered one of the representative private university hospitals in Japan operating branches in Kawasaki, Tokyo, and Yokohama, where the headquarters are located.
Ahead of a large-scale hospital renewal in 2023, it aims to improve medical quality and patient safety through the introduction of the latest ICT technology, and to be reborn as a leading digital hospital in Japan through smart solution-based business innovation and global standard application. .
EZCaretech has developed a pre-investment in 2018 to advance into Japan to convert the global standard version of its existing hospital information system into a Japanese version that can respond to the insurance claim system and regulations in Japan, and attract new customers. It has come to fruition after three years of promoting it. Easycaretech also established a Japanese subsidiary in November to expand its business in Japan.
The project starts in January 2021 and is planned to be completed in March 2023, and plans to promote the construction project without any problems with domestic small and medium-sized partners such as Plantit Healthcare and NeogenSoft.
This contract is the successor to the preliminary analysis Fit & Gap contract conducted for the same hospital in January 2020, which means that various verifications related to work culture and localization in Japan have been passed with sincerity and technical excellence. Considering that most of the meetings, training, and development were conducted non-face-to-face as a Demic, the company explained that it was another great achievement of value.
Vice President Hwang Hee said, “Easycaretech expanded its overseas market through success in entering the US, an advanced medical country in 2016,” and said, “As a result of continuously expanding HIS to overseas hospitals, a total of 15 overseas markets including Saudi Arabia, UAE and the US We have succeeded in exporting Korean hospital information systems to hospitals.”
He said, “This contract is expected to serve as a signal for Easycaretech to expand a new global market to Japan and East Asia. Through these achievements, it was ultimately launched in the market last year to start domestic services and test the current global version. It is expected that it will be a solid foundation for the overseas market entry of the latest cloud hospital information system.”
