Ahn Cheol-soo, the representative of the National Assembly Party, who has declared a run for the Seoul Mayor by-election, visits Itaewon, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 20th to hear the grievances of local merchants. News 1
On the 20th, CEO Ahn Chul-soo of the People’s Party criticized the power of the people for refusing to disclose the contest platform for the unification of candidates for the Seoul Mayor’s by-election opposition, saying, “I am fighting with the Democratic Party, but now the first opposition party seems to be fighting with Ahn Chul-soo.”
Representative Ahn met reporters after a meeting with Itaewon merchants in Yongsan-gu and said, “Participation in the 1st opposition party was a decision made after a lot of thought. I hope that the opposition supporters and the party leaders know my heart.”
The day before, after President Ahn suggested the release of the contest platform, the power of the people, Kim Jong-in, chairman of the Emergency Response Committee, rejected it within two hours, saying, “After the party candidate is decided, we can discuss unification.”
Regarding the possibility of joining the people’s power, “As I explained yesterday, I am the representative of the Public Party. The National Assembly has many members and the approval rating reaches 10%. If you leave and join the National Assembly, those who supported the existing National Party will be a single candidate for opposition. “I will not support it,” he said, regretting “Is there such an unreasonable demand?”
He said, “What really matters is not to beat me, but to fight and win with the Moon Jae-in regime. How can I win the Seoul Mayor’s election, how the opposition will win, and how do I think of many different supporters, the People’s Party, the people’s strength supporters, “It is a proposal yesterday to find a way to go head-to-head on whether to support one candidate with rational progress and even shamans.”
When asked about the Minister of Small and Medium Venture Business Park Young-seon, who resigned to run for mayor of Seoul, “First, the Democratic Party should not give up a candidate. This is a situation where the Democratic Party has no choice but to spend more than 100 billion won in blood tax. Then the Democratic Party must pay this 100 billion won. I can only discuss candidate qualifications after doing that.
