Kyochon F&B, which runs the chicken franchise Kyochon Chicken, announced a new CI (Corporate Identity) and announced that it would leap to a global restaurant company. It is a signal to start a variety of businesses such as processed foods and health foods, not limited to the existing flagship chicken business.
On the 19th, Kyochon F&B unveiled a new CI on its 30th anniversary. The new CI expressed the will to leap forward as a global food service company representing Korea using the initials of Kyochon’s’K’ as the symbol mark. It also embodies the combination of Kyochon’s corporate philosophy,’I’ of honesty and trust, and’C’, which means sharing and communication.
Kyochon F&B, the first franchise industry to be directly listed on KOSPI in November last year, declared the advance into processed and health foods as it transformed into a global food service company. Sales in 2019 are 381 billion won, and through continuous investment, it has set a goal to grow to 770 billion won, which is double the current level by 2025. It plans to increase its operating profit, which is currently around 39.4 billion won, to 100 billion won.
To this end, it is actively seeking to expand overseas. Currently, it plans to expand its overseas share, which is only 2% of total sales, to the 10% range. By 2025, it will focus on accumulating overseas business know-how and establishing a delivery and takeout business model by opening and operating 537 stores in 25 countries including the Middle East, Taiwan, Hawaii, Turkey, and Australia. It also seeks out new business through active R&D. It has declared its entry into new businesses such as pet feed based on chicken processing technology, health functional food material, and seasoning material.
