Melania, 51, the wife of US President Donald Trump, recorded the lowest level of favorability in the last poll conducted while in office as first lady. President Trump and Mrs. Melania’s four-year term ends at noon on the 20th (local time).

Ms. Melania’s record of the lowest favorable rating so far was 43% of the poll conducted by CNN in December of the same year after she went to Africa alone in October 2018. At that time, Ms. Melania was criticized for wearing a’Pith helmet’, a hat symbolizing African colonialism, in a Kenya safari park.

On the contrary, the most favored Ms. Melania was after attending the funeral of Barbara, the wife of former President George HW Bush, in May 2018. At the time, Ms. Melania recorded a favorable rating of 57% in a poll conducted by CNN.
