There are high concerns in the business community that the arrest of Vice Chairman Lee will adversely affect the Korean economy.

First, the National Federation of Businessmen said that the lack of leadership could delay entry into new businesses and make quick decisions, resulting in a lag in global competition.

The Gyeonggi-do also pointed out that if significant business decisions and investments are delayed due to management gaps in a situation of high uncertainty due to Corona 19, adverse effects on the economy and industry as a whole are inevitable.

The future of Samsung Group is falling into the fog, whether the plans to rise to the world’s No. 1 system semiconductor by 2030 and strategies such as’super gap’ will be possible through in-house management, and again faced a situation of arrest in total in three years.
