Nearly 400,000 people died from Corona 19 in the United States, the country with the greatest damage to Corona 19.

As a result of the count of Johns Hopkins University on the 16th (local time), the cumulative number of corona19 confirmed cases in the United States reached 23545,000, and the cumulative number of deaths reached 392,000. The United States is the country with the largest number of corona19 confirmed and dead in the world. As of this day, 25.0% of the global confirmed cases (90478,000 people) and 19.5% of the dead (2014,000 people) came from the United States.

On the 15th, 3409 additional people died of Corona 19, and 21,5941 people were confirmed as new infected, and the number of confirmed cases exceeded 200,000 a day for 11 consecutive days.

In December of last year, about 7,500 people died from Corona 19 in one month, and it was recorded as the month with the most deaths, but this month’s situation is expected to surpass that. About 46,240 people died by the 15th, which is half of them, and it is estimated that the death toll would exceed 90,000 if it remains.

Meanwhile, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) warned that a variant coronavirus from the UK, which is known to be more contagious, could become the most dominant coronavirus in the U.S. Accordingly, the CDC urged the expansion of vaccinations, along with stronger enforcement of masks and social distancing.

Meanwhile, state governments responsible for vaccinating COVID-19 are expressing frustration and dissatisfaction when the federal government’s promised additional supply of vaccines turned out to be a promise they could not keep.

US Minister of Health and Welfare Alix Aza said on the 12th that “most of the vaccines for secondary vaccination stocked by the federal government will be released”, but it turned out that there is no stockpile.

Colorado Governor Jared Police said he was “extremely disappointed that he had been told to lie” about the vaccine stockpile. Governor Polis added that all or almost all of the remaining 58,000 doses of vaccine would run out in the 17th.

The governors of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota wrote a letter to the secretary of Aza, saying it would be desirable for the state to purchase vaccines directly from pharmaceutical companies.
