Daejeon Hanbat Gymnasium Temporary Screening and Inspection Office extended until February 14th

The city of Daejeon announced on the 17th that the operating period of the temporary screening test center at Hanbat Gymnasium in Busa-dong, Jung-gu will be extended until February 14, which is a special quarantine countermeasure during the Lunar New Year holiday.

With this measure, citizens of Daejeon who wish to be tested regardless of the presence or absence of symptoms can be tested by visiting the temporary screening test center installed in front of the Hanbat Gymnasium in Jung-gu by the 14th of next month.

General citizens are tested through walking, and pregnant women, the elderly and the disabled are tested through drive through, and the test results are determined after about 24 hours.

The Hanbat Gymnasium Temporary Screening Office, which has been in operation since December 28 last year, is being operated as a manpower of the Korean Tuberculosis Association along with four private medical personnel employed by Daejeon City.

The Hanbat Gymnasium Temporary Screening and Testing Center conducted a total of 7986 tests up to the 16th, and as a result of finding 14 confirmed patients.

Daejeon City Health and Welfare Bureau Chief Jeong Hae-gyo said, “Even if it is very difficult, please refrain from meetings and events until this period, and if you have any symptoms or are anxious, please visit a temporary screening test center.”
