Recently, Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun, who gradually develops the color of politicians, expressed a negative opinion on the profit-sharing system. It is interpreted that the ruling party, together with the Democratic Party’s representative Lee Nak-yeon, attempted to differentiate the profit-sharing system proposed.
On the 14th, Prime Minister Chung appeared on a radio and drew a line in discussions about legislating the benefit-sharing system, which was an issue within the Democratic Party. Prime Minister Chung showed a negative reaction to the `profit sharing system` itself, saying, “I do not use the term.” He then explained, “We do not currently have it as a law or system, and if we want to study it as a law and system, it becomes a lot of controversy, and in some cases, it can be another source of conflict.”
Prime Minister Chung said, “I strongly agree with the spirit of win-win, such as win-win growth between large companies and SMEs and mid-sized companies, and win-win growth between suppliers and consumers, but it is desirable to do something after the public consensus has been established first.” Prime Minister Chung was evaluated as a politician who relatively well understood the grievances of companies by serving as a corporate executive before entering politics and as the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Energy even during the participatory government.
At the Prime Minister’s mission on that day, the Thursday conversation with businessmen such as LG Vice Chairman Kwon Young-soo and Kim Hyung-sik Eruda, the CEO, also emphasized the’economy’ by ordering’open win-win cooperation’ between large companies and startups. He said, “In order to achieve the economic foundation and advance to a leading economy, we need a spirit of win-win growth to create an economy that thrives together,” he said. “Startups with creativity and challenge spirit solidarity and cooperate with conglomerates to spark hope even in a crisis. I smoked.” He added, “We need to lay the foundation for mutual prosperity in which fair sharing is achieved according to each other’s contributions to these achievements.”
Prime Minister Jeong, who celebrated his 1st anniversary on the 14th, said on Facebook that day, “The fact that he was the prime minister of the Republic of Korea last year was heavy. It was a time to learn from the people and learn how to be humble before the people.” One of the Passport’s lawmakers said, “Prime Minister Jung has had to focus only on the number of corona19 confirmed cases in the past year,” and said, “It will be regrettable that it was a year when there was no opportunity to show his strengths in the position of Prime Minister Jung.” Prime Minister Jung also directly explained to the social network service (SNS), saying, “Since it is the presidential power and the party power, there is no time to be interested.” Another leader in the Democratic Party said, “If the Corona 19 situation calms down to some extent, Prime Minister Chung will be able to speak more of his own.”
For the time being, Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myeong, Lee Nak-yeon, etc. are expected to focus on building an image as a third candidate through a differentiated move from Big 2. It is in the same context that Governor Lee said on the 7th, “I hope we will get out of the single-celled debate” about the general distribution of disaster subsidies.
Within the party, the possibility that the passport presidential election will be shaken once is discussed according to the results of the Seoul-Busan mayoral by-election on April 7. If he wins at least 1 win and 1 loss, there is a high possibility that the current Yanggang composition will continue, but if the ruling party loses 2, there are many prospects that Lee will face a considerable crisis. In that case, it is analyzed that Prime Minister Chung, Unification Minister Lee In-young of the ’86 group’, and former president Lim Jong-seok, the chief secretary of the president, will also enter the race for the presidential election. There is also a view that Prime Minister Chung, who has a competitive power in the presidential power, will emerge as a new alternative as the dislike for the Governor remains unfavorable.
Prime Minister Chung’s aides are expected to focus on empowering under water for the time being. It is reported that Democratic Party lawmaker Lee Won-wook is focusing on promoting Prime Minister Chung by increasing the contact surface between party members and the general public. Also noteworthy is the’Gwanghwamun Forum’, where 58 active lawmakers are participating. Lee and other lawmakers Kim Young-ju, Ahn Kyu-baek, Kim Gyo-heung, and Ahn Ho-young are currently actively helping Prime Minister Chung, but other lawmakers can become potential allies. It is known that the study meeting, which ended due to the quarantine situation since the end of November last year, will also resume sooner or later.
