The US House of Representatives has entered into discussions to deal with the impeachment bill for President Donald Trump.

According to Reuters and others on the 13th (local time), the US House of Representatives started a debate on the impeachment bill at 9 am that day. As the Democratic Party, the majority of the House of Representatives, announced that it would rush the impeachment process, the vote was expected to come out in the morning.

Earlier, on the 6th, the Democratic Party initiated an impeachment bill that applied charges of inciting a civil war against President Trump in connection with the invasion of President Trump’s supporters to the Capitol.

The US House of Representatives is expected to begin a final vote on the impeachment bill soon after debating and voting on rules governing impeachment proceedings prior to the vote.

Congressman Jason Crowe (Democratic, Colorado) said, “We’re going to impeach the US President twice. It’s the first time in history. It’s all about holding the President accountable.”

Of the 435 seats in the House of Representatives, the Democratic Party occupied 222 seats, and some Republican lawmakers also announced their will for impeachment.

If the impeachment bill is passed, President Trump will become the first U.S. president to pass the impeachment bill twice during his term in office following the impeachment of the House of Representatives in late 2019 related to the Ukrainian scandal.

However, even if the impeachment proposal is passed, more than two-thirds (67) of the Senate needs approval, so the possibility of an actual impeachment is low. The Democratic Party and the Republican Party should approve of 50 and 17 respectively, and only 5-6 Republican senators demanded the resignation of Trump.
