The lowest in the competition rate of Nagun is Catholic University for the third consecutive year. There was a trend of increasing medical schools with new interviews, but this year Chosun University and Chungbuk University abolished interviews and Ajou University reduced the weight of interviews. Recently, as a result of an analysis of the admissions screening for 2021-year national medical schools, 1527 (50.4%) out of 3029 pre-medical students were selected only with grades without evaluation of their personalities as doctors during the entrance examination process.

The multi-mini interview is an interview method that is in the spotlight in recent medical school selections. It is a unique structure in which small-scale interviews are continued, rather than one-off interviews conducted in one existing interview room. The time required is longer than that of a general interview. If the general interview is short, it takes about 10 minutes, whereas the multi-mini interview is conducted sequentially through several interview rooms called’rooms’, so depending on the number of interview rooms, it may take longer than an hour.

Multi-mini interviews are mainly used for occasional interviews, but sometimes they are used on time.
