Neoflux, a subsidiary of Shinhan Financial Group, announced on the 12th that it has changed its name to Shinhan Venture Investment by holding an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders at the Shinhan Venture Investment headquarters located in Glass Tower, Teheran-ro, Gangnam.
Shinhan Venture Investment (formerly Neoflux), which became the group’s 17th subsidiary in September of last year, will start anew as a venture investment company with the title of’Shinhan’ through this company name change.
Shinhan Venture Investment, as a full-time venture investment company, discovers start-ups and SMEs and provides necessary capital, management advice, and management system for each stage of growth to support the strengthening of competitiveness and growth of investment companies. It is also expanding its role in the group’s innovative growth ecosystem development projects such as’Shinhan NEO Project’,’Shinhan Triple-K Project’, and’Shinhan Futures Lab’.
Shinhan Venture Investment and collaboration with group companies have already begun. ‘Shinhan-Neo Market-Frontier Investment Association No. 2′(formed 100 billion won) and’Shinhan-Neo Material Parts Equipment Investment Association’ (formed KRW 19.9 billion) The group’s major affiliates have successfully completed the recruitment by investing a total of 39.9 billion won.
