The World Health Organization (WHO) international investigation team, which will investigate the origin of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19), decided to visit China on the 14th. However, there is no skepticism this time as the situation did not produce any results even after two visits to China last year.
WHO Secretary General Thewardros Adhanom Governor Yeosus confirmed through Twitter on the 11th (local time) that the Corona 19 international investigation team will arrive in China on the 14th. “Scientists who will participate in an international mission on the origins of the coronavirus virus will arrive in China on Thursday (14th),” he tweeted. We look forward to working closely with the part.”
Earlier on the 11th, the China National Hygiene and Health Committee announced that an international team of experts led by WHO will be visiting the country first. China’s Wigeon Committee explained, “After agreement with the WHO, an international team of experts studying the origins of Corona 19 will visit China to investigate on the 14th. .
Previously, the WHO investigation team composed of multinational experts arrived in China on the 5th and planned to trace the origin of Corona 19 based on virus samples collected locally and interviews with infected people. However, when the Chinese government hesitated for reasons such as visa issues, even the WHO secretary-general, who had been friendly to China, voiced criticism about the delay in entry.
Regarding the origin of Corona 19, Western countries such as the United States and Australia are raising the’China’s responsibility theory’, emphasizing that Wuhan of China is the source of the Corona 19 virus. On the other hand, China is in a position that Wuhan was the first place where Corona 19 was discovered, not where it originated. It even raises the possibility that the virus was introduced to Wuhan through imported food.
In addition, China is also inflicting trade retaliation on Australia for insisting on international investigations. WHO conducted field investigations in China twice last year, but has yet to come up with a clear answer.
