It was only 41 days after 451 on December 1 last year that the number of confirmed cases fell to 400, and it fell to the level before the third pandemic.

However, there is also a significant impact on the number of inspections on holidays than on weekdays.

Yesterday, the number of inspections per day was 28,000, less than half of the 59,000 inspections last Friday.

When looking at the route of infection, 419 people occurred in Korea and 32 people came from abroad.

Of these, 78 were tested positive at the temporary screening test in the metropolitan area.

Domestic outbreaks are still concentrated in the metropolitan area.

The number of domestic infections was 137 in Seoul, 142 in Gyeonggi, and 18 in Incheon, with 297 in the metropolitan area alone.

In the non-capital area, there were 24 in Gwangju, 16 in Busan, 14 in Ulsan, 13 in Gyeongnam, and 10 in Daegu, Chungnam, and Gangwon.

New patients emerged from 16 cities and provinces nationwide, excluding Sejong.

Of the 32 foreign inflows, 11 were confirmed during the quarantine stage.

The death toll increased by 15 to 1,140.

The number of patients with severe gastric disorders decreased by 6 to 395.
