The latest work of the popular action series’Like a Dragon’ franchise,’Like a Dragon 7: The Whereabouts of Light and Darkness (Hereinafter, Like a Dragon 7)’ is preparing to release a next-generation console version. Currently, pre-orders for both console versions, such as PS5 and Xbox Series X, are in progress, and PC users with the Xbox release version are expected to enjoy the game with the official localization.
The Xbox series X/S support’Dragon 7′, which will be released on February 25, will support Xbox Play Anywhere. Accordingly, the game will be released only with the digital download version, and users can freely play the game through consoles such as Xbox series X/S and Xbox One as well as Windows 10 PC.
In addition, according to Xbox Play Anywhere support, game progress is stored in Xbox LIVE for each user’s MS account, and game challenges are also recorded as a single progress according to game progress, not independent by platform.
‘Like a Dragon 7’is an action RPG that was first released in January 2020. It is well known that it has made great changes in various fields such as the main character, battle, and play style, along with the latest work in the popular’Like a Dragon’ series.
The biggest feature of the game is that it has been renovated into a turn-based RPG. Away from the real-time action that was consistently shown in the previous series, it showed turn-based combat and multi-character development found in the classic JRPG genre.
In addition, it was the first title to put the new protagonist’Kasuga Ichiban’ in front of the main character’Kiryu’, which has led the series so far, and even though it has undergone major changes, both the story and the gameplay received high praise.
