[태양열산업 선도기업] Emacs System

Emacs Systems (CEO Jong-wook Lee), which has been focusing on the overall cooling and heating system business of buildings, started manufacturing solar collectors in 2009 and is currently carrying out new and renewable energy businesses such as solar, geothermal, and ESS. In particular, it has grown into a promising company with solid basics by carrying out a number of R&D tasks by the Ministry of Industry, and plans to aggressively develop the business with the manufacturing base for all solar energy sectors such as △PV △BIPV △PVT △PVThermal starting in 2021. .

Emacs System completed the research on PVT module and system development at the end of June last year, and is currently conducting a demonstration operation for general users.

An official of Emacs Systems said, “PVT system is highly likely to reign as the strongest in the building energy sector in the future.” “Since electricity and heat are simultaneously produced from one panel, it can be an optimal choice for buildings with limited installation area. There is” he emphasized.

The applicability is very high not only for detached houses and apartments, but also for business buildings. In the case of apartment houses, PVT modules are installed on about 70% of the rooftop area, and when used as hot water supply and common electricity for each household, energy independence can be achieved by about 20%. do.

In particular, in the case of the industrial process heat sector, the hot water supply load is constant throughout the year, so PVT systems can be operated very efficiently in both the power generation and heat collection sectors. As such, the PVT system has been evaluated as having a very high market applicability as a customized energy independence system along with the government’s implementation of mandatory zero energy buildings.

Mass production system entered in the second half of this year

Emacs System is planning to enter the mass production system from the second half of this year after completing commercialization preparation and quality enhancement research by June this year. In particular, the PVT manufacturing process, △Serpentine pipe production △Laser welding △Tabbing/String △Laminating △Finished product assembly, is planned to be operated in one line for the first time in Korea.

Due to the nature of new and renewable energy devices, commercialization can only be achieved when the government’s supply system is prepared. This year, the first stage of dissemination, plans to start commercial dissemination through a pilot project of the Korea Energy Agency. It is installed on the roof of the hotel as a pilot to produce electricity and heat.

When the government’s supply system is ready, the second stage is preparing for supply through housing support, building support projects, and convergence projects. The business direction is to supply PVT modules and related equipment to specialized companies in the solar heat sector, and sales and construction will be performed by specialized companies.

Stage 3 is being prepared for general construction companies such as mandatory projects for public institutions. When the establishment of related standards and standards at the government level is completed, project implementation becomes possible. In particular, the business goal was set in the direction of selling PVT modules to small and medium-sized construction companies in connection with the implementation of zero energy buildings.

An official of Emacs Systems said, “As the overseas PVT market is also in the initial market stage, we plan to promote export through systematic overseas marketing.” I will do it.”

Emacs System is also advancing R&D to improve product reliability. Since the PVT industry is in the early stages of the global market, research is also being conducted on ways to imprint excellent product images to domestic and global consumers through the launch of products with the highest reliability.
