LG Electronics unveiled its 2021 TV lineup on the 10th. OLED TV was placed on top of the premium. The recently unveiled mini LED TV’QNED TV’ and the existing nano cell TV are planning to target the mid- to mid-range market.

The newly released product is’OLED evo’, model name G1. LG Electronics explains that it emits light of elaborate wavelengths to express clear picture quality compared to the existing ones, shows a bright screen, and is ahead of existing OLED TVs in picture quality, contrast ratio, black expression, and wide viewing angle.
In the existing OLED lineup, the 83-inch OLED TV is also unveiled. LG Electronics expects that this year’s OLED TV market will be the first year of’OLED trending’, which is about twice as large as last year. This year, the number of models of LG Electronics’ 70-inch or larger super-large products will nearly double from 4 last year to 7 earlier this year.
LG QNED TV, which was previously released at the end of December, has been newly added to this year’s LG Electronics premium LCD TV lineup. LG Electronics, which applied 2,500 local dimming and high-color reproduction technologies to this product, plans to launch more than 10 models, including 8K and 4K resolutions, mainly for ultra-large products.
LG Electronics plans to reinforce the product composition of LG nanocell TVs, focusing on ultra-large units, and solidify its premium position in LCD TVs as well as OLED TVs.
LG Electronics is equipped with an artificial intelligence’alpha9 (α9 Gen4) processor’ that has evolved to the fourth generation in its TV. This processor is based on deep learning technology that analyzes more than 1 million video data and 17 million sound data, and has significantly upgraded graphics and data processing capabilities compared to previous processors. The 8K OLED TV (model name: Z1) contains an 8K dedicated Alpha9 processor.
In addition,’Artificial Intelligence Sound Pro’ technology, webOS 6.0-based interface, sports notification function, shopping service’WWW’, and artificial intelligence remote control incorporating ergonomic design will be introduced.
