Suwon FC, who was promoted to K-League 1 in professional soccer, recruited’Duo’ Yoon Young-sun (33) and Jung Dong-ho (31), who were former national defenders, and began to strengthen the back door.
Suwon FC announced on the 8th that “we have recruited defenders Yoon Young-sun and Jung Dong-ho from the national team,” and “Midfielder Kim Jun-hyung (25) also joined.”
Yoon Young-sun, who joined Seongnam as the first draft in 2010, played 244 games (6 goals) in the K-League as a veteran defender who played in Sangju, Ulsan, and Seoul.
Yoon Young-sun was included in the final list of 23 players during the 2018 World Cup in Russia, and participated in the final group stage match, contributing to a zero-run victory (2-0 win) against Germany.
Yoon Young-sun vowed, “As a senior, I will lead my juniors and do my best in every league.”

Jeong Dong-ho, who started his professional career in Yokohama Marinos, Japan in 2009, entered Ulsan in 2014 and made his first step in the K-League, and played 108 games (2 goals and 10 assists) in Ulsan alone until last season.
Jung Dong-ho was selected as the first national team A in 2015 after representing the U-20 and U-23, and played five A-match matches, and last year helped to win the Asian Football Federation (AFC) Champions League in Ulsan.
Jung Dong-ho said, “I am proud to have come to Suwon FC, where the spirit of challenge is strong.
I will work with a sense of responsibility to lead the victory of the team in every match.”
Suwon FC also recruited midfielder Kim Joon-hyung, who played for Suwon Samsung until last season.
Joon-hyung Kim, who joined Suwon in 2017, returned to Suwon last year after running for a year on loan at Gwangju FC in 2019.
He played 23 games in the K-League.
