Residents in the area of ​​the blackout suffered great inconvenience.

The electricity supply to the apartment complex was cut off amid the fleshly arctic cold wave.

Some apartment complexes in Seocho-dong and Yeoksam-dong, Seoul, had a blackout last night at around 10 o’clock.

The place where the electricity supply was cut off was the officetel building, which housed over 1,300 apartment units and 280 units in the vicinity.

It is around the area where the power outage occurred.

Currently, the temperature here is -15 degrees Celsius.

In the midst of a strong cold wave, residents suffered inconveniences such as not being able to use electric heating devices.

Except for some areas, electricity supply resumed at around 11 pm, an hour later, but the power outage suffered amid a severe cold wave, which caused inconvenience to residents.

A power outage continued for 16 hours in an officetel building in Bangi-dong, Seoul, where more than a hundred households reside, and electricity was resumed at around 9:40 PM.

[오피스텔 주민 : 전기에 대한 건 아무것도 안 되고 뭘 해먹을 수도 없고 이렇게 추운 날씨에 보일러도 안 되니까 춥고요.]

Some areas in Jangdeok-dong, Gwangju Metropolitan City, were cut off at around 9:20 yesterday.

The electricity supply resumed in about 4 hours, but 500 households in the apartment complex and the residents of nearby shopping centers had to experience great inconvenience in the cold.
