Let’s go straight to Washington.
Correspondent Lim Jong-ju, let me first tell you the news that Biden-elect’s verification process is over.

The joint meeting of the House of Representatives, which was held until dawn, ended about two hours ago, and the results of the presidential election were confirmed here.
There were objections to the results of some state elections, but the results of Biden-elect 306 votes, President Trump 232 votes, and electoral corps votes were confirmed.
After completing all certification procedures, Biden will be inaugurated as the 46th president on the 20th.

The United States has even been declared a state of emergency. Has there been no casualties since the suppression of the Capitol?
[기자]
Police and national guards are deployed in the Capitol and throughout the city center to provide strict security.
The night curfew will be lifted after a while, but the emergency will remain for 15 days until the inauguration ceremony.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the FBI launched an investigation, including identifying the protesters.
[앵커]
What is Biden-elect’s position on this case?
[기자]
President-elect Biden said that President Trump encouraged violence, and was shocked and grieving.
[조 바이든/미국 대통령 당선인 : 시위가 아니라 반란입니다. 오랫동안 민주주의의 희망과 등불이었던 미국이 이렇게 어두운 순간을 맞게 돼 정말 충격적이고 슬픕니다.]
In politics, the condemnation of national tragedy and shame boiled, and the leaders of each country expressed concern, saying, “It is shameful and not the United States we know.”
[앵커]
How is President Trump’s move that is raising accountability?
[기자]
President Trump belatedly said, “There will be an orderly transfer of power on January 20th.”
Still, it defends the protesters as patriots and continues to claim that the elections have been stolen.
I also attended the protest meeting earlier.
[도널드 트럼프/미국 대통령 : 우리는 의사당까지 걸어갈 것입니다. 힘을 보여줘야 합니다. 강해져야 합니다.]
Tweet and Facebook temporarily suspended President Trump’s account.
Disappointed aides, such as the resignation of assistant assistant to the National Security Council of Potinger, are packing up.
